
Richard Bardsley Smith
Biography
Studied Town Planning at UNSW Faculty of Architecture in 1970s. First began watercolour painting at that time. Maintained painting as a hobby while working in public service and private sector. Setup and ran a planning and design consultancy with two friends for 25 years until recent retirement. Illustration and rendering work was often undertaken throughout working life while painting remained a hobby. Now seeking to paint full time in retirement.
