Rachel Peters
Artist’s Statement
Rachel Peters is a visual artist from South West Victoria who has exhibited for over 15 years. She works in a number of media, her works often reflecting the local environment, including vignettes of coastal happenings, textural studies of cliffs and overhead interpretations of river pathways. Peters cannot help celebrating the natural world and studying people’s interaction with it, and this permeates her choice of color, form and painterly texture.
