  • Artist’s Statement

    I'm a contemporary realist oil painter. The natural world is my eternal inspiration. I try to express the beauty of nature, but with a reminder that the earth is precious, and in danger.

  • Biography

    With over 25 years as a practising artist Laurel Foenander is a contemporary realist painter, working in oils. Many of her paintings are held in collections Australia – wide and over seas, particularly in the area
    of Australian birds. She has exhibited in numerous solo and group exhibitions She has won over 100 art show awards. In 2019 with a renewed focus on entering Art Prizes, her work “Survivor” was selected as a finalist in the Bayside Acquisitive Art Prize.
