Janet Green

  • Artist’s Statement

This year has brought new challenges and issues to the fore. I have still used my love of detail but concentrated on the idea of being "Trapped" out at sea, in all types of crafts, and what that means to the Seafarers.

  • Biography

Influenced by the great Dutch and Spanish masters, Janet Green is one of Australia’s foremost still life painters, she is best known for the unique manner in which she captures both the essence of the Australian landscape and combines it with extraordinarily beautifully painted compositions of still life.
