Artist’s Statement
Emma Rose is a Melbourne based painter and printmaker. Her images evolve from a profound, empathic response to her environment and the people in it. Having exhibited in solo and group exhibitions, and been a finalist in several Art Awards, Emma's images offer a portal beyond an obvious visual representation, asking the viewer to contemplate and engage deeply.
