  • Artist’s Statement

    Bronwen is a Melbourne based artist. She paints mainly with oil, sometimes adding a cold wax medium. Her paintings are developed from observational sketches made on site and then revisited in the studio. Whilst remaining largely figurative, she pays homage to contemporary art theory. Subjects include landscape, figure, still life and animals studies.

    RMIT short drawing course.

    Andrew Wyatt, Vincent Van Gough, Fred Williams, Marino Marini Edward Schiele and Nicholas de Stael.

    Multiple exhibits with the Victorian Arts Society, Four Plus One collaborative oil exhibition, several curations and a number of art shows in inner Melbourne and the Nillumbik Shire.
