Ben Winspear
Biography
I am a Melbourne professional artist and arts instructor working in oil, watercolour and drawing. A significant portion of my work is drawn from the local and wider Australian landscape which I have a great affinity for. I work to capture something of the 'spirit' of each place I encounter - as well as any other subjects I paint - portraits, figure etc. The technical is the solid building blocks for that elusive something that makes for a work that draws the viewer in and on a journey.
